I have worked for the Sacramento Bee since Dec. 9, 2016 as a part-time student employee. I work as an agate clerk, creating daily scoreboards for the Sacramento print product and taking phone calls from coaches and official scorekeepers for local high school and community college teams for the Sacramento Bee’s online scoreboard.
Recently, I was able to freelance an article that appeared in the Dec. 25, 2017 print edition of the Sacramento Bee as well as at SacBee.com, and on the websites of McClatchy publications The San Luis Obispo Tribune and The Modesto Bee. The story received over 20 comments on SacBee.com, nearly 200 reactions on Facebook and about 45 shares on the platform as well.
